The Brooklyn Hattie Golf Classic was held this year on June 21, 2019 at Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility in Ajax, Ontario. There were over 400 people who attended, and a great time was had by all. This is the third year I have been involved in the tournament.
This year, we raised over $46,000 for the Dearn Family, who lost their father Ben to Cancer at the age of 43. We have raised just over $100,000 in three years for three deserving families.
I would like to send out some heartfelt thanks to first my company Hutcheson Sand & Mixes that has supported the tournament from the beginning through sponsorship, prizes and participant’s on the day. Without their support and companies like them, we would not be able to pull the day off.
I would also like to thank Deer Creek, a long time Hutcheson supporter for hosting an unbelievable day. I have had nothing but compliments on what a great time everyone had and how smooth the day went because of the great staff great shape superintendent Matt Hewitt and his staff had the course in.
Lastly, I want to thank Oshawa Golf & Curling Club, Kawartha Golf & Country Club, Timber Ridge Golf Course, and Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course for their ongoing support of Hutcheson and donating to the tournament.
