TRAFALGAR GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

Trafalgar Golf and Country Club was founded in 1958 in Milton Ontario.  This Private Robbie Robinson design had all 18 of its original push-up style greens rebuilt in 2006-07 to USGA specifications.  The Greens mix was an 80-20 Calcareous Sand from Hutchesons Cayuga facility.  The greens were then sodded to L-93 creeping bent, one of the first in Ontario to rebuild all 18-greens at the same time.  Trafalgar remained open during the two-year construction project. The superintendent at Trafalgar is Mark Prieur, who also happens to hold the position of Treasurer for the OGSA.

In addition, 2 kilometres of privacy berming was installed as well as an irrigation upgrade and several new tee decks had been performed.  Today, the club enjoys the bentgrass putting surfaces as they are smooth and drain effectively. Trafalgar continues to use a number of different Hutcheson products and are very happy with the way they all perform and just ordered a new load of Hutcheson B Sand last week!

Hutcheson appreciates the relationship we have built with Trafalgar Golf and Country Club and we look forward to a continued relationship for many years down the road.
